Arnaud D. Bensoussan

Vice President, Product & Market Development

Arnaud Bensoussan is a vice president of Product & Market Development within the Longevity Risk Transfer segment of Prudential’s Investment & Pension Solutions business. In this vital role, Arnaud is responsible for leading the firm’s ventures in international longevity reinsurance, with a focus on North America, Europe and Australia. He is also charged with spearheading efforts to create innovative product solutions that facilitate longevity risk transfer transactions.     

Prior to joining the Pension Risk Transfer team in 2014, Arnaud was a vice president within Prudential’s Internal Audit Department, where he served as the capital markets audit risk specialist, assessing capital markets risk across the entire Prudential enterprise, and leading the design of appropriate coverage strategies.

Arnaud came to Prudential from Dresdner Kleinwort (currently Commerzbank), where he served as a vice president in Structured Capital Markets, managing the structuring and execution of large capital markets transactions with financial institutions for eight years. Prior to that assignment, Arnaud was a market risk manager with Merrill Lynch for two years, where he advised senior management and U.S. regulatory bodies on the firm’s risk exposure. Arnaud also spent three years in the management consulting industry, with a focus on new drug development and analytical modeling for pharmaceutical companies.

Arnaud earned a “Diplôme d’Ingénieur” (Master’s Degree equivalent) in mathematics and physics from Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées in Paris, France. He also holds a Master of Science in operations research from Stanford University, and a Master of Business Administration in finance from the MIT Sloan School of Management.
